HostPrecision supply professional web hosting and web design services to businesses throughout the world.
It's the culmination of 23 years IT industry experience, and 13 years web development experience in the UK and EU, which has now expanded into the US as well. With a presence in both UK and US datacentres, HostPrecision truly has a global footprint!

The story began back in 1998 when Pete, formerly a systems hardware engineer, who at that time was working as an Area Manager for a national computer distributor, started building websites for friends and business acquaintances. It was the early days of the internet..... and as there were very few web designers of any note around at the time, he started getting more and more personal referrals.

As time moved on, he was finding it increasingly difficult to build sites on the clients' hosting accounts due to their unreliability. Downtime and inaccessibility were the order of the day, and even a relatively simple site build became a marathon of endurance as he battled with numerous webhosts' helpdesks trying to get some sense. Or in some cases, even a response!

So in 2002 the search was on for a reputable provider to supply a quality platform on which to build and host websites for clients. All those sites initially came under the umbrella of ic54.com. But in 2005.....things changed! Growing dissatisfaction with the quality of life in the UK saw the business relocating to Spain, and the sites then began running under DragonRojo (Design) and WebSpain (Hosting) to reflect the new location.

Over the next few years, the worst recession in recent history took it's toll on both British and Spanish businesses. Spain became a graveyard for British businesses with a 99% failure rate. However, due to the longstanding reputation of the business, and the volume of personal referrals from existing clients (some going back to the 90's) WebSpain just kept on growing! Not just in Spain, but in the UK, US, and numerous EU countries.

By late 2008, WebSpain had become the largest web developer/web host in Spain.......surpassing even the native Spanish companies. And as the number of website clients kept growing, so did the resources needed to host all the sites. Bit by bit, the infrastructure for HostPrecision was evolving!

By early 2010, WebSpain were getting more and more requests for hosting from non-webdesign clients. It became impossible to ignore the fact that even though the company never had any aspirations to be a host other than to existing website clients, the reputation for professionalism and reliability had "crossed over" into web hosting. People wanted a personal service in an anonymous world, and that's what the business had always been about.

So to reflect the worldwide and all-embracing nature of the business......HostPrecision was born in 2010 from the evolution of ic54, DragonRojo, and WebSpain!
It embraces the same "OldSchool" values of it's predecessors.......honesty, integrity, reliability.......and a pursuit of excellence!
